Here is a drabble I wrote for the August Summer Rain Drabble.
The air was charged with electricity; lightening flashed, thunder roared. Ken
saw the storm outside the window and the one raging in Jess's eyes. On the
table sat the paddle. Not a paddle for fun, but a paddle to drive out demons,
a paddle to quiet the raging storm.
Jess had silently made his request, leaving Ken to accept the appeal or not.
Ken looked closer into Jess's eyes. Would this help his boy? He was asking
for more than fun and games. Jess wanted his inner storm stopped. This was
Ken's decision now. Would he make the right one?
